Extruded plastic nets – made in our own plant
Elplast EOOD produces extruded polyethylene nets at its own production site in Asenovgrad, Bulgaria. Because we extrude the nets ourselves, we can offer a minimum order of just 1 roll (12–13 kg) – the lowest threshold in our entire catalogue. This makes our nets accessible to large growers and packers as well as to small farms and gardeners.

Packaging nets and protective nets
We produce two main types of nets – packaging nets and protective industrial nets. They are used both in agriculture and in industry.
- Packaging nets – for packing agricultural produce (fruit and vegetables), for sea farming, for packing fuels and for growing crops.
- Protective nets – as transport packaging in industrial companies: to protect machine parts, assemblies and high-value industrial products, and to protect young fruit trees in agriculture.
Our modern equipment and long experience allow us to develop nets for specific applications. We offer nets made from different materials and with different properties.
“Extra” nets
We have also developed “Extra” nets with improved properties – high strength, elasticity, softness and good optical properties. They ensure safe transport and storage and a good appearance of the packed product. “Extra” nets are designed for packing agricultural produce, and thanks to their softness and elasticity they do not damage fruit and vegetables.

The minimum order is 1 roll (12–13 kg) in one of the standard colours – blue, yellow, red, green or white. For orders from 1,000 kg we produce nets in a colour of your choice. What are extruded packaging nets used for?
For packing farm produce — potatoes, onions, citrus fruit — and for protection, for example wrapping profiles, pipes or fragile goods in transport and storage where the product needs ventilation.
What are the nets made of?
They are extruded from polyethylene in our own plant in Asenovgrad, Bulgaria. The extruded structure gives even strength along the whole length of the net.
Which colours are available?
The standard colours are blue, yellow, red, green and white. Diameter and roll length are agreed with each request.
Can I order a custom colour?
Yes — a custom colour is available for orders from 1000 kg.
What is the difference between a packaging net and a protective net?
A packaging net holds and shapes the product — a bag of potatoes or onions for sale — while a protective net is wrapped around an item to protect it from knocks or scratches in transport.
Are the nets recyclable?
They are made of polyethylene, which is a recyclable material. Elplast does not take used nets back for recycling.
What is the minimum order for nets?
